Two Leathers. One Sneaker. No Compromise.
A good leather sneaker is genuinely hard to find. Most of the market is synthetic with a leather patch on the toe, or full-grain leather finished so heavily it is indistinguishable from plastic at ten paces. The Optimus starts from a different place: two real leathers, each chosen for what it contributes visually and structurally. Olive green nubuck across the body. Oil pullup tan at the toe cap and saddle panel. Together, they make a leather sneaker that delivers a unique visual impact.
Olive Nubuck and Oil Pullup Tan — Why Both
Nubuck is buffed on the grain side — giving it a tight, velvety surface with visible texture that no smooth leather can replicate. Olive green nubuck in particular has a muted, earthy quality that reads as casual without being rough. The oil pullup tan at the toe and saddle does the opposite: warm, burnished, with a surface that develops a natural pull-up shift as the leather flexes over time. The contrast between the matte nubuck body and the richer oil pullup panels is not decorative for its own sake — it is what makes the Optimus visually distinct in a category full of single-material shoes.
Channelled TR Sole — Structural, Not Just Functional
The TR sole is channelled to the upper — meaning the upper leather wraps into the sole channel and is bonded within it, rather than simply glued flush at the edge. This creates a stronger, more durable attachment that resists separation at the sidewall, which is typically the first place a cemented sole begins to fail. The sole itself is lightweight and flexible, with enough grip across surfaces without the bulk of a performance outsole. It keeps the Optimus looking clean and low-profile while holding together through real use.
Twin-Layer Cushioning — Latex and Memory Foam
Most leather shoes get the upper right and ignore the inside. The Optimus uses a twin-layer footbed: latex on top, memory foam below. Latex responds instantly to foot pressure — soft underfoot from the first step, with natural rebound that does not flatten out. Memory foam beneath it maps to the shape of your foot over time, distributing pressure evenly across the arch and heel. Together they produce a level of comfort that is unusual in the leather sneaker category, where cushioning is often an afterthought. The lining is naked drum-dyed leather — undyed through to the surface, which means it breathes genuinely rather than just looking the part.
Style Note
Olive green is one of the more versatile base colours in a casual wardrobe — it sits naturally next to khaki, cream, stone, rust, and navy without needing to be matched. The tan panel grounds the olive and keeps it warm rather than military. The white TR sole completes the palette cleanly. The Optimus works well with straight-cut or tapered denim, chinos in earthy tones, and casual cotton trousers. It is the leather sneaker for someone who wants a sneaker silhouette but is done with sports branding.
The leather sneaker that wears like a sneaker and ages like leather.

Comfortable Genuine Leather Sneaker
The perforations on the sides are hand-crafted. This sneaker is a stunning design and is also very comfortable.
Cushioned Foot-bed For Lower Stress on Your Knees
Multiple layers of cushion in the foot-bed are designed to reduce stress on your knees and ankles. You can comfortably use them even for long walks. The cushion layers include layers of memory foam & latex which will work well even over 4-5 years of regular usage.
Keeps your feet cooler
The shoe comes with powerful ventilation – the specialized leather on the inside of the shoe absorbs the sweat very quickly and brings it to the surface from where it dries up, keeping your feet cool and sweat free. You can comfortably use it without socks. Your feet will remain stink free.
Long Lasting TR Sole
The sole will give you good grip in both indoor as well as outdoor terrains. It has low abrasion which means that it will hold good against years of intensive use. TR soles perform very well in both sub-zero zones as well as Equatorial climate.

What is cemented construction technique?
Leather is tucked on the edges of lasts with tags/nails before it is attached to the sole.
What is TPR material?
Thermoplastic Rubber is a special grade material which has qualities of both rubber (in terms of abrasion & flexibility) and long life of Special Grade Plastic like PU or EVA. Soles made of this material have a longer life in both cold & hot climates.
What's the difference between Faux Leather Shoes and Genuine Leather Shoes?
Faux Leather shoes do not breathe and feet will become hot from inside. Well-made genuine leather shoes (with genuine leather lining) will keep your feet cool even after 10 hours of usage in 40 degree Celsius zones. Genuine leather has 50 times longer life than Faux Leather Shoes.
What's hand-punching?
Each punching or perforation is done via small tools one at a time & this takes a lot of time to finish one pair; approximately 20 minutes a pair (only for perforations).
