OXFORD Shoe:

Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.

Oxford shoe has a toe-cap and the lace panel touches each other; a shoe must meet these two criteria for it to be called OXFORD

Brogue

Brogue is a shoe with perforated pattern and depending on the perforations and where it has been done, there can be multiple kinds of brogues.

The wingtip [as in the image] is the most evolved perforated pattern, but it can also be minimal – only in toe cap for example.

Is Brogue a Formal Shoe?

Oxford is a formal shoe but Brogue is not necessarily formal. One can create a Brogue with Sneaker Sole which is smart informal but not a formal shoe. Colehaan Zero Grand series has some of the most popular Sneaker Brogues.
