Burgundy, Used as a Single Stroke — Not a Wash of Color
There's a version of this wallet that goes bold with burgundy, using it as a full interior leather. This isn't that version. Here, burgundy shows up as a single narrow strip running down the center divide — a deliberate flash of color exactly where the wallet folds, visible only when it's open. It's a quieter, more restrained way to use the same color: understated enough to fly under the radar closed, distinctive enough to notice the moment it's opened.
Full-Grain Black NDM Leather, Kept Simple on Purpose
The body is a smooth, black NDM leather — plain, matte, and deliberately free of texture or contrast panels elsewhere, so the burgundy strip has nothing to compete with. It's a minimalist base built specifically to let one accent do all the visual work.
A Layout Built for Fewer, More Deliberate Items
Rather than maximizing slot count, this one holds to a tighter, more curated capacity: 3 card slots and 3 slip pockets, alongside twin main compartments. That's a genuinely slimmer footprint than TZARO's higher-capacity wallets, suited to someone who carries a handful of cards rather than a full stack. Alongside that sits a dedicated coin pocket — still uncommon in bifold wallets — for loose change or small notes, rounding the wallet out for cash-and-coin carry rather than cards alone. Everything is lined in a black poly twill, chosen for its durability against the daily friction of cards and coins moving in and out.
Style Note
The all-black exterior and single burgundy detail make this an easy fit for formal or office settings where a plain black wallet is the safe default — with just enough of a personal touch to avoid feeling generic.
One line of burgundy. Everything else, quietly black.

Backed with Tough Interlining Layer
This wallet is backed with tough interlining materials which gives the wallet; extra life. These interlining materials is a layer behind the leather which ensures that the leather doesn’t get de-shaped post getting stretched and thus it extends the life of the wallet. The interlining used in this wallet is one of the highest quality.
Mechanized Stitching
The wallet has been stitched with state of the art mechanized process which means that the stitch density (per inch) is consistent even at the corners and the length of stitches is absolutely same all across. This both adds to its life as well as the class of this wallet. You can notice that the stitches would be consistent even on the corners.
Edge Folded and Heat-Sealed
Each edge of pockets or the compartment separator is folded and creased. This adds lot of life to the wallet. A lot simpler and cheaper way of making wallets is when horizontal slits are cut in the leather panel to create slots for credit cards leaving the edges raw and exposed. This weakens the wallet.

What kind of Leather has been used for this wallet?
The wallet has been made of genuine drum dyed leather.
What is drum dyed leather?
The tanning can be done via spraying color on the leather (where the color is only on the top of leather surface) or by dipping the leather in color solutions (which is done in large drums) where the color seeps into the leather and adds to color fastness.
Is Faux Leather also leather?
No Faux leather is basically plastic while genuine leather is made from animal hides.
Does genuine leather have a greater life than Faux Leather?
Yes genuine leather has upto 50 times longer life than Faux-leather. Infact low quality Faux-leather can start to crumble in 3-6 months.
What determines the life of a wallet?
Life of a wallet depends on the way it is made (1) and the way it is used (2). Each TZARO wallet has been made with drum dyed genuine leather which has been skivied for uniform thickness. Each wallet is backed with strong interlining which adds to its strength. We use a computerized high density stitching technique which ensures adequate stitch strength and also distributes the pressure evenly. Usually a TZARO wallet can last upto 5 years depending on how it is being used.
What not to do with a wallet?
Do not store so much stuff (cash, card & coins) that it loses its shape. In case it gets wet then do not sun dry it - let it dry under fan, away from sun. Stuff it with old newspaper to get rid of the moisture.
