Old School Form. Modern Detail. Nothing Wasted.
The Cloud 1903 looks, at first glance, like a classic leather slipper. Tan oil pullup footbed, dark sole, simple silhouette. Look closer and the details start to accumulate. An embossed badge on the strap — not a plain logo burn but one with a graphic outline that presses into the leather like a craftsman’s stamp. A Y-junction where the strap meets the toe post that is gathered, structured, and stitched into a raised knot rather than simply joined. Cotton webbing lined with sweat-friendly leather at every skin contact point. A cushioned footbed below the oil pullup surface. A dark compound sole that is anti-skid and super-light despite everything the colour suggests. Classic in proportion. Deliberate in every detail.
Oil Pullup Tan Leather Footbed — The Base That Builds Character
The footbed is oil pullup leather in tan — a hide saturated with conditioning oils during tanning, giving the surface a warmth and a slight burnished depth that flat leather does not carry. Oil pullup in tan develops a pull-up effect at flex points over time: the areas that bend and bear weight lighten against the deeper base, creating a two-tone surface that is specific to the foot wearing it. No two pairs age the same way. The footbed below the leather adds a cushioning layer that holds the foot without compressing to nothing through a long day of wear.
Embossed Badge Detail — A Logo That Earns Its Place on the Footbed
The embossing on the Footbed is the brand mark, but the way it has been executed changes what it does to the shoe. The logo sits inside a defined outline — a border pressed into the leather that gives the mark the quality of a stamp or a wax seal rather than a simple brand burn. It catches light differently from the surrounding leather, creating a shadow-and-depth effect that is visible from above and from the side. On tan oil pullup leather the embossed border develops its own character as the leather ages — the pressed edges darken slightly at the creases, making the badge more distinct over time rather than less.
Structured Y-Joint — Where the Strap Is Made Interesting
The point where the strap splits into the Y — where the two sides of the upper meet the toe post — is typically the most functional and least considered part of a slipper’s construction. On the Cloud 1903 it has been treated as a design moment. The leather is gathered and stitched at the junction into a raised, structured knot that has visible volume and a clear silhouette from above. It is the kind of detail that a maker includes because they are thinking about the shoe from every angle, not just the profile. Functional, structural, and the first thing a second look finds.
Cotton Webbing with Sweat-Friendly Leather Lining — Comfort at Every Contact Point
The strap is built on cotton webbing — breathable, skin-friendly, flat against the foot without heat retention. Every surface that sits against the skin is lined with sweat-friendly leather: soft, natural, and comfortable across the full length of a day in warm weather. Cotton breathes where synthetic cannot. Leather lining at the contact points adds a natural softness that webbing alone does not deliver. The combination means the strap performs without irritation regardless of how long or how warm the day gets.
Dark Anti-Skid Sole — Super-Light, Full-Base Grip
The sole is dark — a deep compound colour that sits in keeping with the old-school register of the shoe and grounds the overall silhouette. It does not carry the weight its colour implies: the compound is super-light, engineered to deliver almost no perceptible weight underfoot while maintaining a flexible feel across the full sole length. The anti-skid structure covers the full base — not concentrated at heel or forefoot but present across the entire contact surface. Grip that works, weight that does not register, and a colour that makes the shoe look considered from sole to footbed.
Style Note
The Cloud 1903 is for the man who wears classic footwear but notices when something has been made with more intention than usual. The tan-and-dark combination is familiar territory — warm, versatile, works with most of what is already in the wardrobe. Dark denim, olive and khaki trousers, brown leather belts, earth-toned kurtas. What makes the 1903 different from a plain tan slipper is visible to anyone who looks at the strap: the embossed badge with its defined outline, the structured joint at the Y, the stitching that holds the gather in place. The details are there. They do not announce themselves. They reward the second look.

Superlight Leather Slippers
These leather slippers combine three amazing ingredients, antiskid sole, pure leather and cotton webbing to create a stunning slipper
Genuine Leather
The construction uses handpicked leather which is of a grade that it will absorb sweat very well, given the open slipper design – this makes it very comfortable. The leather touch makes it ideal for wearing it with denim, chinos and even shorts.
Anti-Skid Sole
The sole is made of a sophisticated new age material which makes it superlight. The sole has powerful antiskid grip even on wet surface. This is also a very flexible sole allowing the slipper to mimic the feet movement.
Cushioned Foot bed
The Slipper has thin layer of memory foam under the foot-bed which along with the flexible-sole reduces stress on your knees and ankles. This is an amazing everyday slipper which looks both stylish and is very comfortable.

What is special about leather?
These are premium leathers which gives it extra life and makes it skin friendly.
What's special about the SOLE?
The Sole is made of high quality rubberized EVA. This delivers light weight sole which also handles slippery surfaces well.
Why is the weight of a slipper important?
Heavier slippers tend to come off your feet – hence controlling the weight of slipper with no rear support [as in a sandal] is a very important dimension. This series is super-light in its make inspite of being made of leather.
