Olive Nubuck. Handloom Colour. Honey Sole.
The Loom Red makes a statement with warmth and contrast. The Loom Olive takes the same construction philosophy and shifts entirely in character — muted, earthy, and more quietly interesting. Olive nubuck leather as the base: a tight, velvety surface that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. A handloom canvas panel in teal, green, and multicolour dot pattern running across the mid-upper. A honey rubber sole that ties the warm and cool tones together from below. Three very different materials, each doing something the others cannot.
Nubuck Leather and 100% Cotton Handloom — Why This Works
Nubuck is buffed full-grain leather — the grain side raised to a tight, close nap that has more surface texture than smooth leather and more structure than suede. In olive, it has a natural, earthy quality that sits well next to handloom fabric without competing with it. The handloom panel is 100% cotton, woven on a traditional loom — the multicolour pattern in the weave is not a print, which means it does not fade or crack. The teal and green tones in the fabric echo the olive of the leather without matching it exactly, creating a layered colour relationship that rewards looking closely.
Honey Sole and Stitched Construction
The honey rubber sole is the third tone in the palette — warm amber underfoot that bridges the olive above and the earthy fabric between them. Like the Loom Tan, the sole feels like part of the shoe rather than a base it sits on. The upper is stitched to the sole for additional structural durability — the stitching runs along the welt, reinforcing the bond and extending the life of the shoe beyond what cemented construction alone provides.
Comfort for Full Days
Memory foam cushioning maps to your foot over time and holds its support through extended wear. The lining is sweat-friendly leather — breathable, natural, and genuine against the foot. The Loom Olive is built for regular use, not occasional wear.
Style Note
Olive is one of the most versatile earthy tones in casual dressing — it sits naturally with khaki, cream, stone, rust, navy, and indigo denim. The handloom panel adds colour without disrupting the overall muted palette. The honey sole keeps the base warm. This is the shoe for someone who dresses in earth tones and wants their footwear to carry craft and intention without announcing it loudly.
The leather sneaker where every material has a reason.

What is cemented construction technique?
Leather is tucked on the edges of lasts with tags/nails before it is attached to the sole.
What's special about the SOLE?
The Sole is made of high quality rubber which has strong grip across all surfaces and it also has a very long life.
What's the difference between Faux Leather Shoes and Genuine Leather Shoes?
Faux Leather shoes do not breathe and feet will become hot from inside. Well-made genuine leather shoes (with genuine leather lining) will keep your feet cool even after 10 hours of usage in 40 degree Celsius zones. Genuine leather has 50 times longer life than Faux Leather Shoes.
What is special about lining?
These shoes have been lined with naked leather. This family has very superior ability to absorb the sweat which travels to the upper surface of the shoe and dries up keeping your feet cool from inside.
