Apache CP — The British Tan Tactical Boot Built for Paramilitary and Police Personnel
In paramilitary and police service, the boot you wear is not just equipment — it is part of your uniform, your authority, and your endurance. The Apache CP is built with that understanding at its core.
The CP in Apache CP stands for Central Police — a direct nod to its primary intended audience: personnel serving in India's Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), state police, and allied paramilitary organisations where British Tan (English Tan) is the standard-issue colour mandate.
Everything under the hood is Apache-grade — the same battle-proven platform trusted across multiple battalions of the Indian Army. What changes is the colour, the leather, and the audience it is built to serve.
British Tan in NDM Leather — The Colour of Authority, The Quality of Performance
The Apache CP upper is crafted from NDM (Non-Directional Melt) family leather in British Tan — also widely referred to as English Tan or Police Tan in the context of Indian paramilitary and police uniform standards.
NDM leather is one of the most premium leather grades used in tactical footwear. It is chosen for its outstanding breathability, structural longevity, and resistance to cracking and deformation under the kind of sustained, high-intensity usage that paramilitary duty demands. In the British Tan finish, NDM leather develops a rich, warm tone that deepens naturally with use — giving the boot an authoritative, well-maintained appearance that holds up well against the demands of daily parade, patrol, and operational duty.
The interior is lined with a German fabric lining that actively transfers sweat away from the foot — keeping feet cool, dry, and completely odour-free even during extended duty hours, route marches, or physical training.
The Sneaker-Boot Built for Duty That Never Stops
Paramilitary and police personnel are on their feet for shifts that can stretch to 12 hours or more — patrolling, standing post, conducting operations, or handling crowd situations. The physical toll of heavy, poorly cushioned boots compounds over time into chronic fatigue and joint stress.
The Apache CP was engineered to break that cycle.
At approximately 1 kg per pair, the Apache CP is a high-ankle tactical boot that moves and feels like a premium sports sneaker. The weight engineering directly reduces stress on the knees and feet during extended wear, while the high-ankle construction maintains the support and ankle protection required in unpredictable operational environments. Personnel who have switched from standard-issue paramilitary boots consistently describe the Apache CP as a step-change in how their feet feel at the end of a long duty day.
Phylon Midsole + High-Density PU Cushion — Engineered for Long-Shift Endurance
The cushioning system in the Apache CP is designed around one specific challenge: performing well not just for hours, but for years of demanding daily use.
Phylon Midsole — Phylon is a premium compressed EVA compound widely used in high-performance athletic footwear. Unlike the PVC and PU soles used in most standard-issue paramilitary boots — which flatten and lose their cushioning properties within months — the Phylon midsole retains its spring and shock-absorbing performance over the long term. It is the reason the Apache CP continues to feel bouncy and responsive well into years of heavy usage.
High-Density PU Cushion — Layered above the Phylon midsole is a high-density polyurethane cushion pad finished with a genuine leather insole surface. Together this stack delivers powerful shock absorption that protects joints whether you are conducting long foot patrols, carrying additional load, or standing at post for extended periods on hard surfaces.
Rubber Outsole — Grip Across Every Surface a Duty Boot Encounters
Paramilitary and police duty takes personnel across an unusually wide range of surfaces — polished parade grounds, wet roads, rocky terrain, slippery institutional floors, and everything in between. A sole that underperforms on any of these is a liability.
The Apache CP uses a purpose-designed thin rubber outsole that delivers:
- Reliable anti-skid grip across wet, dry, smooth, and uneven surfaces
- Long-term outsole durability — rubber's abrasion resistance dramatically outlasts PVC and standard PU soles used in most duty boots
- Lightweight thin-profile design that keeps the boot agile without sacrificing traction or protection
This is the same outsole technology that has driven adoption of the Apache series across multiple armed forces battalions — now applied directly to a boot built for paramilitary and police use.
Side Zip — On and Off in Seconds, Every Time
The Apache CP features a sturdy side zipper alongside the traditional lace closure. For personnel who put their boots on and take them off multiple times during a duty cycle — at checkpoints, during briefings, transitioning between environments — the zip provides a genuine daily convenience without asking you to compromise the structural fit or security of the boot.
Who Is the Apache CP Built For?
- CAPF personnel — CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NSG — where English Tan or British Tan is part of the uniform standard
- State police officers required to wear tan-coloured duty boots
- Paramilitary trainees and recruits preparing for demanding physical and operational training
- Security and protection detail professionals who need a duty boot that performs across formal and field environments
- Defence enthusiasts and trekkers who want the paramilitary aesthetic combined with genuine tactical-grade construction

The next Generation of Technology on : Sole Grip, Cushioning, Life of Upper, Life & Breathability of the Shoe making it popular with the Forces
Powerful Ventilation:
The shoe comes with mesh layer which has been combined with specialized fabric lining on the inside with a special adhesive which accelerates the sweat transfer from inside to the surface of the shoe. This keeps your feet cool and sweat free.
Powerful Shock Absorbing Ability
The shock absorbing ability comes both from thick PHYLON midsole layer as well as the memory foam cushioning on the inside. It’s ability to handle shock is going to work well even over the years.
Rubber Outsole
The thin rubber outsole gives a lot of protection against wear & tear. It is also designed to deliver powerful grip even on wet rocks. Thinness of rubber layer ensures that the shoe stays light on the feet which is important in reducing the usage fatigue.

About Construction Approach
These have been made with stuck-on technique. In simpler words the upper has been pasted to the sole.
What's the padding/cushioning?
These have been padded with a two layers of Latex & PU. PU is incredible material for cushioning - it has amazing performance even over the years. We use a tapered cushion which has been designed to reduce stress on your knees.
What is special about leather?
These are premium leathers which gives it extra life and makes it skin friendly. They have been treated to deliver very high breathability.
What's special about the SOLE?
The sole is a special compound made of EVA and Rubber, which have been combined in a way that its abrasion is less than 250 which means (1) the sole will last for a very long period of time (2) the sole is of antiskid make which along with being super flexible adds significantly to the comfort.
