TZARO Genuine Leather Driving Shoes — Light Tan Penny Strap
Every shoe in the TZARO driving range has its own character. This one has the most refined.
The penny strap changes everything about the silhouette — where the lace styles are relaxed and expressive, this is clean, considered, and quietly authoritative. In light tan oil pullup crunch leather, with its luminous, living surface that shifts with the light, this is the driving shoe that crosses most naturally into dressed territory. This is a very hard to find color.
Oil Pullup Crunch Leather — Leather That Lives and Breathes Oil pullup is a finishing technique where the leather is deeply saturated with oils and waxes during tanning. The result is a surface that visibly lightens where it flexes and deepens where it rests — creating a dynamic, dimensional quality that flat leather simply cannot replicate. In this particular shade of light amber-tan, the effect is especially striking: warm, luminous, and full of depth. The crunch grain adds texture that polished leathers lack, while the oils ensure the leather remains supple and develops a beautiful, personalised patina with every wear. Low maintenance by nature — a soft cloth and the leather's own oils do the work.
The Penny Strap — A Cleaner Silhouette Where the rest of the TZARO driving range carries a lace or cord detail, this shoe takes a different direction entirely. The clean horizontal penny strap across the vamp gives the shoe a more minimal, loafer-forward face — smarter in register, more versatile in occasion.
True Moccasin Construction — The Fit That Moves With You Built on true moc-toe construction — the sole runs continuously through the leather upper, allowing the shoe to expand and contract naturally with every step. It wraps the foot rather than containing it, conforming from the first wear with no break-in period required. The more you wear it, the better it fits.
Naked Leather Lining — Built for Sockless Wear The interior is lined in naked leather — completely uncoated and chosen specifically for ventilation and sweat management. It draws moisture away efficiently, keeps your feet cool and dry, and makes sockless wear genuinely comfortable across long hours. Designed to be worn without socks. The lining is precisely why that works.
Flexible Rubber Sole — Light, Grippy, Precise The rubber sole moves with the foot, delivers grip on smooth surfaces, and keeps the shoe light enough to wear all day. The heel curves upward in the classic driving shoe tradition — designed for the angular position of a foot on a pedal, as comfortable behind the wheel as it is walking into a room.
Style Note: Light tan is the most versatile colourway in the driving shoe world — it pairs naturally with white, cream, navy, olive, grey, and denim without effort. The penny strap silhouette pushes this shoe further into smart-casual territory than any other in the range — wear with tailored chinos and a linen blazer for a polished warm-weather look, or with dark slim denim and a white shirt for an elevated everyday outfit. One of the few driving shoes that works as comfortably at a smart lunch as it does on a weekend drive.
The driving shoe that dresses up without being asked.
Crafted for the long drive. Worn well beyond it.

Why is it called Driving Shoes?
Driving shoe is a category of shoe where the sole curves backwards to facilitate the shoe position in same angular position as needed to change the gears or press the brakes.
True Moccasin Construction
The leather wraps like an envelope below the feet; this construction technique gives the shoes an amazing ability to expand and contract with every step you take in these which adds to its comfort. This technique is somewhat rarely used as it consumes more leather than usual cemented construction. It’s an amazing experience to use shoes made with MOCTOE technique.
Keeps your feet cooler
The shoe comes with powerful ventilation – the specialized inside leather absorbs the sweat very quickly and brings it to the surface from where it dries up, keeping your feet cool and sweat free. You can comfortably use it without socks. Your feet will remain stink free.
Cushioned Feet
The shoe comes with powerful cushioning designed to reduce stress on your ankle and knees. The cushion is tapered to add to its ability to redistribute the pressure.

What is a driving shoe?
Driving Shoes became very popular in 70s. It all started in Italy when a company came with a very light weight shoe which had sole going backward (at the end). There were two distinct features of this shoe (a) It was very light weight (a lot of people did not want to wear heavy shoes in long drives) (b) the ends of the sole allowed the angular position of the feet which is how it is while using gears brakes.
What is true-moccasin construction technique?
True Moccasin construction refers to a technique where the leather swings like an envelope all around the feet. Driving shoes have a snug fit or they fit like socks which means that the leather needs to expand when you walk (the muscles expand when the pressure is on the big toe area). Only true moccasin construction allows for this expansion. This technique consumes 40% more leather but the comfort is unmatchable.
