Warm tan. Sand suede toe. A high ankle boot with a lighter, more contemporary character.
The Tattaglia in tan tumbled leather is a high ankle boot that sits between rugged and refined. The tumbled full-grain upper has a soft, naturally grained texture — warm and lived-in without the heavy wax marks of crazy horse leather. The sand suede toe cap grounds the front in a quieter, earthy tone. The crepe finish sole completes a palette that reads as warm, considered, and easy to wear. A boot with serious construction underneath and a surface that earns attention without trying too hard.
Tumbled full-grain leather with protein finish — soft grain, lasting quality
Tumbled leather is full-grain hide that has been mechanically tumbled in a drum during tanning — a process that softens the leather and opens the natural grain, creating a slightly pebbled, flexible surface without sacrificing any of the density or strength of full-grain hide. The protein finish applied on top seals the surface with a treatment derived from natural proteins — giving it a smooth, slightly lustrous appearance that is more refined than raw or waxy leathers while remaining breathable and durable. In tan, the tumbled grain catches light differently across the surface, creating subtle tonal variation that makes each pair look slightly unique. This is a leather that is soft from day one and holds its quality over years of wear.
Sand suede toe cap — texture contrast at the front
The toe cap is sand-coloured suede — a softer, matte texture that contrasts quietly with the tumbled tan upper. It reinforces the front of the boot where impact and abrasion are highest, and it adds a two-texture design element that gives the Tattaglia its distinctive profile. Against the warm tan body, the sand suede reads as a natural, earthy accent rather than a bold contrast — the palette stays in the same warm family throughout.
Crepe finish sole — warm, grippy, and built to last
The crepe finish TR sole carries a warm sand tone that ties the boot's palette together cleanly — tumbled tan above, sand suede at the toe, crepe sand below. Crepe rubber has been used in quality footwear for over a century: it grips well on city streets and uneven outdoor ground, cushions the foot naturally across long hours of walking, and wears quietly underfoot — no squeak, no slap. Built for daily use and years of wear.
Inside — naked leather lining and memory foam with latex
The lining is naked leather — uncoated, breathable, and naturally moisture-managing. A thin latex layer beneath the memory foam footbed adds responsive spring to the cushioning — the boot absorbs impact and rebounds quickly, reducing foot fatigue through long days. Comfortable from the first wear, no break-in period needed.
High ankle height — full coverage, full support
A full lace-up high ankle boot with a classic rounded cap toe and cemented construction — firm ankle support, flexible underfoot, and light enough to wear through long city days without fatigue. The silhouette sits well over straight-leg denim, tucked into cargo trousers, or worn with dark chinos and casual wear.
Style note
The warm tan-and-sand palette of the Tattaglia is one of the most wearable earthy combinations in men's footwear — it pairs with khaki, olive, cream, grey, and denim in any wash. The tumbled grain and protein finish give it a slightly more polished character than waxed or crazy horse leathers, making it equally at home in a relaxed office as on a city weekend. This is the high ankle boot for men who want rugged construction with a warmer, more refined surface.
Rugged where it counts. Refined where it shows.

What is special about lining?
These shoes have been lined with naked leather. This family has very superior ability to absorb the sweat which travels to the upper surface of the shoe and dries up keeping your feet cool from inside.
What is cemented construction technique?
Leather is tucked on the edges of lasts with tags/nails before it is attached to the sole.
What is TPR material?
Thermoplastic Rubber is a special grade material which has qualities of both rubber (in terms of abrasion flexibility) and long life of Special Grade Plastic like PU or EVA. Soles made of this material have a longer life in both cold hot climates.
What's the difference between Faux Leather Shoes and Genuine Leather Shoes?
Faux Leather shoes do not breathe and feet will become hot from inside. Well-made genuine leather shoes (with genuine leather lining) will keep your feet cool even after 10 hours of usage in 40 degree Celsius zones. Genuine leather has 50 times longer life than Faux Leather Shoes.
