Army Brown. Compound Camo. A Mule That Means Business.
Brown is the colour of serious leather. Not the warm, accessible tan — this is a deeper, darker brown that carries more weight and more authority. In oil pullup leather it has a richness that develops further with every wear, building from a uniform dark brown into a surface with genuine depth and personality. Pair it with a compound camouflage sole built from mixed rubber compounds — not a print, not a surface application — and the Army Brown Hector becomes the most distinctly outdoors-ready shoe in the Hector series.
Oil Pullup Leather — Brown That Deepens With Wear
Oil pullup leather is saturated with oils during tanning, giving it a surface that responds to use rather than resisting it. In dark brown, the pull-up effect is more subtle than in lighter tones — the lightening at flex points creates a quiet two-tone depth rather than a strong contrast. The surface catches light differently at different angles. Over months of wear it develops a rich, personal patina that flat or processed leather cannot replicate. Maintenance is simple — a soft cloth for cleaning, occasional conditioning. The oils inside the leather do the work. The lining is naked leather — undyed, uncoated, and fully breathable against the foot.
True Moccasin Construction — Ventilation Built In
Built on true moccasin construction — ventilation is designed into the layered structure of the upper, not punched in as holes after the shoe is built. Natural air channels across the vamp keep the shoe breathing through extended wear. The sole attachment is stuckon — bonded cleanly to the compound rubber base for a low-profile, close-to-ground feel that keeps the shoe light without sacrificing durability.
Camouflage Compound Sole — In the Material, Not on It
The camouflage pattern on this sole is not a print. Multiple rubber compounds in earthy tones — off-white, grey, brown, beige — are mixed together before the sole is formed, distributing the pattern through the material itself. It does not fade with wear. It does not peel at the edges. Because the compounds are mixed into the base rubber, the pattern is as durable as the sole itself. Against the dark brown oil pullup upper, the earthy camo tones read as a natural, cohesive combination — one that works especially well for the buyer who spends time outdoors or simply wants footwear that looks like it could. The sole is stitched for added structural strength and carries pronounced heel cushioning for all-day comfort.
Style Note
Army brown is darker and more grounded than tan — it works with olive, khaki, dark denim, and brown or earthy kurtas. The compound camo sole keeps the shoe in firmly casual-outdoor territory. This is not a shoe that blends in — but it does not shout either. It is the choice for the buyer who wants something with a clear point of view that still goes with half the wardrobe.

Air-Flow Design
The unique air-flow design along with sweat friendly leather lining along with the way it’s made gives it powerful ventilation
Stitched the Sole
The upper is stitched to the sole. It’s a classical technique called 'Stitch Down Technique' - this stitching is done manually and each stitch is actually locked. It adds to its flexibility as well as to its life.
Cushioned Foot-bed For Lower Stress on Your Knees
Multiple layers of cushion in the foot-bed are designed to reduce stress on your knees and ankles. You can comfortably use them even for long walks. The cushion layers include layers of PU & latex which will work well even over 4-5 years of regular usage.
Flexible Anti-Skid Rubber Sole
Ronny comes with new generation of sole which is super flexible and gives a strong grip even on the most slippery surfaces. Rubber sole has a lot of life built into it. It won't wear out easily.

What is true-moccasin construction technique?
True Moccasin construction refers to a technique where the leather swings like an envelope all around the feet. This construction technique allows the leather needs to expand when you walk (the muscles expand when the pressure is on the big toe area). Only true moccasin construction allows for this expansion. This technique consumes 40% more leather but the comfort is unmatchable.
What is special about lining?
These shoes have been lined with naked leather. This family has very superior ability to absorb the sweat which travels to the upper surface of the shoe and dries up keeping your feet cool from inside.
What is cemented construction technique?
Leather is tucked on the edges of lasts with tags/nails before it is attached to the sole.
What's special about the SOLE?
The Sole is made of high quality rubber which has strong grip across all surfaces and it also has a very long life.
What's the difference between Faux Leather Shoes and Genuine Leather Shoes?
Faux Leather shoes do not breathe and feet will become hot from inside. Well-made genuine leather shoes (with genuine leather lining) will keep your feet cool even after 10 hours of usage in 40 degree Celsius zones. Genuine leather has 50 times longer life than Faux Leather Shoes.
