Tan. But Not Flat Tan.
A belt in plain tan is a wardrobe basic. This one is tan that has been worked — hand-padded for colour depth, then boarded to create a two-tone surface where darker tones emerge naturally across the leather panel against the base. The result is a belt that has visual complexity without trying for it. The variation is in the leather, not applied over it.
Harness Leather — Hand-Padded Colour, Boarded Finish
The base leather is harness family — thick, single layer, dense fibre structure, built for the daily stress a belt takes at the buckle point and across the length. The tan colour has been hand-padded: worked into the surface pass by pass, building a warmth and depth that machine-applied colour does not achieve.
The two-tone finish comes from boarding — a process where the leather is repeatedly folded and pressed along its length, causing the colour to deepen naturally at the flex and fold points. The darker tones that emerge across the panel are not painted on or printed — they are the leather responding to the process. Each belt boards slightly differently, which means the tonal variation is never identical across two pieces. That is a feature of the technique, not a quality issue.
Construction. Stitching. Edges.
Single thick harness leather — no laminated layers, no delamination risk. Stitching runs along both edges in a tonal thread that follows the leather rather than contrasting against it. Edge finished and sealed along the full length. 38mm width — wide enough to fill a standard trouser or jeans loop with presence. Five adjustment holes at one-inch spacing, covering waist sizes 34 to 38 inches.
The Buckle — Brass Finish
Brass finish against tan leather is the classic pairing — warm against warm, no visual tension. The buckle is stitched to the belt rather than pin-attached, which makes it permanent and structurally secure. Double-layer plating, corrosion-resistant, polished edges. Built to last over years of daily use.
Style Note
Created to complement tan leather footwear — pairs naturally with the Timber Tan boat shoe and any tan or brown leather shoe in the wardrobe. Works equally well with raw denim, indigo jeans, olive chinos, khaki, and cream trousers. The boarded two-tone surface means it earns a second look without demanding a first one.
Thick harness leather, hand-padded tan, boarded for depth — the belt that rewards looking closely.

Made with Thick Leather & Comes with a World Class Build Quality
Made with Thick Leather
This belt uses a thick leather. Usually two-three layers of leathers are used to create a thicker belt but in this case it’s just one thick leather which means that there is no risk of opening of this belt. The stitch lines are just to give a distinct casual look to this belt.
Long Lasting Buckle
The buckle is designed to delight you over the years. It’s has 2 layers of plating; the edges have been polished for the smooth finish. The metal composition and the plating give it good resistance against corrosion. Nickel-plated buckle is more of casual shapes to give it a distinct informal look.
Hand Colored Leather Crust
This belt uses a thick leather crust which has been hand-colored to give it a distinct finish. The art of coloring leathers like this a very evolved skill but allows to create distinct colors to create a casual belt which is ideal for denim, chinos & shorts.
