If one leaves a PU sole [& hence shoe] unused for a longish period of time – for example for 6 months or so, the sole compound becomes unstable and crumbles. While if one continues to use it regularly then the sole will last for a very long period of time. So, if one wants these shoes to last longer then one needs to wear them frequently.

Stitch down construction TZARO Shoes

TZARO does a line of shoes in which the upper is stitched to the sole. This is also called Stitch down construction. In this construction approach the upper flares out, which is then stitched to the sole. This gives extra life to the shoes and also makes it super flexible. This construction is done in PU soles and hence one needs to use these shoes on regular basis to get the most of them.

How to Prolong the Life of PU Sole Shoes

To ensure your PU sole shoes last longer, here are a few tips:

  • Frequent Use: As mentioned earlier, regular use of PU sole shoes helps maintain the stability of the sole compound and prevents it from crumbling.
  • Proper Storage: If you must store PU shoes for a while, keep them in a cool, dry place and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity. This helps preserve the integrity of the material.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Wipe the soles regularly to remove dirt and moisture, which can degrade the PU material over time. Use a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals.

By following these simple practices, you can significantly extend the lifespan of your PU sole shoes and enjoy their lightweight comfort for years.
